If you receive a Protective Order from the court, act quickly. Most courts give you hearing date that could be 30 days from when it was granted. You can request a hearing be scheduled in five days and not wait almost a month to get heard. Take the allegations seriously, you can lose individual rights and lose your guns and weapons. If you do not respond the Order will be granted and take effect. Follow the Courts Protective Order. When it states you cannot have contact with the Petitioner. THEN DO NOT CONTACT THE PETITIONER YOURSELF OR THROUGH A THIRD PARTY LIKE THE PERSONS PARENTS, KIDS OR FRIENDS.
